Unity's Hui Hula is all smiles as they prepare to
travel to Culver City, CA. to perform at Dr.
Rev. Michael Beckwith's Agape Church. Dr.
Beckwith has appeared twice on the Oprah
show sharing "The Secret". "The Secret" is a
movie put together with Dr. Beckwith as one
of the leading cast members. After the first
appearance on Oprah there was such a public
outpouring of interest that Oprah brought him
back the following week.

The Hui Hula will dance at the Agape Church
on Wednesday, April 18th to celebrate 10 years
of spiritually-based nonviolent activism rooted
in the Gandhi/King tradition. Their dance is
entitled "I have a Dream". The following day
they will board the "Gandhi/King Peace Train"
to travel from Los Angeles to San Jose to
attend the Living Legends of Nonviolence
Conference. The event culminates on Friday
evening with a Compassion Banquet featuring a
Face-to-Face & Hear-to-Heart ceremony,
honoring Living Legends of Nonviolence with
members of the King family and the Gandhi
family in attendance.

The Hui Hula will again perform at the banquet,

Friday evening, San Jose Marriott Hotel.

For the past 10 years the Season for Peace
and Nonviolence (SPNV) has been observed
from January 30 -April 4, as a national 64
day educational, media, and grassroots
campaign dedicated to demonstrating that
nonviolence is a powerful way to heal,
transform, and empower our lives and
communities. Inspired by the 50th and 30th
anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr., this international
event honored this vision on an empowered,
nonviolent world. At this conference the
Association for Global New Thought will
launch the Perennial Season for Nonviolence,
in which unwavering nonviolence in which -
thought, word and action becomes our
chosen way of life.
