Special Message From the Board of Trustees

Thanks to those of you who were present at last Saturdays Pot
Luck/Town Hall Meeting. We hope you found it to be informative.

And to those of you who wanted to be here but were unable to attend
- You were missed! The Board's special announcement was to let you
know the search for a new Minister is underway! It is the church's
goal to attract a full time minister of high consciousness to help guide
us on our spiritual journey. We feel the time is ripe to open the
channels to bring a Minister to us.

The Board believes that we will increase our attractiveness by placing
two years salary for our new Minister into an account before he or she
arrives. This will allow our new Minister to jump into the job and be
assured the salary for the first two years is already provided.

A Capital Campaign Team has been established with Gloria Manning
serving as the Chairperson. The church is ready to open a new
designated bank account with seed money given by Board members of
over $10,000. Any monies you would like to give toward this
campaign (over and above your regular love offerings) please indicate
on your check or credit card slip that it is for the Capital Campaign
Fund. Gloria welcomes more team members and brainstorming ideas
on how to raise the funds. She can be reached by phone at 808-280-

Saturday services, Gloria and the Team will meet with anyone who
would like to share money generating ideas.

With the new Minister search beginning, a Minister Selection Team is
being formed. If you are interested in serving on that team, please
contact the Unity office and an application form will be sent to you.
Mischel Berg is the Board liaison.

Unity Church of Maui. You're an AWESOME church community!!!!
