Message from the Board of Trustees
The Board has made the decision to hold Saturday Services at 10:00 AM, at 483
S. High Street, Wailuku, on an ongoing basis.
Let's remember that to be good neighbors we shouldn't park on the street, or in
anyone's driveway or lawn. We also kindly request that you do not park in the
limited legal parking spaces on High St. or in the surrounding neighborhood.
Please park at the County Building Office Parking Lot at 250 S. High Street (at
the corner of Wells Street and S. High Street). Shuttle service from the County
Building Parking lot will run continually from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM to and from
Unity Church and the County Building Parking lot. As an alternative, the walk to
and from the county building parking lot is an easy one.
Please understand that this is a temporary change while the church is going
through the process of amending the current use permit.
REMEMBER:
1. Parking permits will be issued upon request. Applications are available in the
church office located at 483 S. High Street, Wailuku. Office hours are Tuesday
thru Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. To qualify for this parking permit a
person with a disability is any person who is unable to ambulate without the aid of
an assisting device. Or, any person who has a permanent disability which limits
mobility as follows: uses portable oxygen, legally blind, neuromuscular
dysfunction that severely limits mobility, Class III or IV cardiac condition,
severely limited in ability to walk due to an arthritic, neurological or orthopedic
condition.
2. Since the church van does not have a child car seat, parents with children who
legally need to ride in a car seat also need to apply for a parking permit.
Applications are available at the church office.
Mahalos for your anticipated excitement regarding our move back home, your
cooperation with our parking and shuttle riding and your community joy of a new
year, a new vision and a new spiritual adventure.
If you have questions regarding this information, please email the church at
office@unityonmaui.org or contact one of the members of the Board of Trustees.
Aloha, Unity Church of Maui Board of Trustees
